Hyderabad to Singapore: A Cargo of Fresh Vegetables
As a proud member of the HSO Network, East West Freight Carriers Ltd recently completed a comprehensive project spanning four months. Their task involved the transportation of perishable goods, specifically Drum Sticks (Vegetables), from Hyderabad, India, to Singapore, with a layover in Bangkok, Thailand. The cargo weighed an impressive 53 metric tons.
Emerging victorious after a competitive bidding process, East West Freight Carriers secured the project with competitive pricing, all while upholding their commitment to delivering top-tier service. The team meticulously planned every detail of the shipment, ensuring each stage was executed with precision and in line with the highest industry standards. Transportation was handled using a combination of air and road routes.
A critical aspect for the team was maintaining the vegetables' freshness throughout the journey, particularly during waiting periods before flights. Upon arrival at the airport, the vegetables were promptly placed in cold storage facilities. To meet the client's requirement of shipping the cargo to Singapore on the same day it reached Bangkok, East West Freight Carriers Ltd efficiently arranged the earliest available flight with Thai Airways International. They also utilized specialized temperature-controlled trailers during road transport to uphold the quality and freshness of the vegetables.
The team executed the transportation seamlessly, ensuring all necessary paperwork was obtained. They acquired a specialized Plant Quarantine Certificate, fulfilling one of the shipment's requirements. Impressively, they completed all customs formalities efficiently and concluded by submitting the Plant Quarantine Certificate to the customs authority.
We extend our congratulations to the East West Freight Carriers Ltd team for their successful project and wish them continued success in their future endeavors!
